Are you looking for a unique Inside Sales opportunity in the outdoor industry?

Secret Creek is looking for an Inside Sales Guide to join our team located on the Western Slope of Colorado.

We believe that Secret Creek isn’t a mythical place, it’s where you connect with the outdoors. The Inside Sales Guide position is guides our customers and clients in designing their perfect Yurt, Tipi, or Tent as a unique way to connect to the outdoors.

The Inside Sales Guide Position is located in Montrose, CO at our brand new 40,000 SF Facility at the growing Colorado Outdoor Complex right off the Uncompahgre River. Remote work will be considered for this position.

Purpose of the Role:

Provide exceptional service to current and new customers for the Secret Creek Sales and Marketing team to ensure we exceed the expectations of our clients and grow the business.

Essential Functions of the Role:

1. Customer Service

· Answer incoming calls, respond to and resolve customer service needs/requests

· Pass any urgent issues to the appropriate party – Director of Sales or appropriate Manager

· Make welcome calls to new customers and begin sales process when needed or transfer to appropriate or assigned Sales Consultant

· On site customer tours and in-person meetings with clients.

2. Sales

· Conduct Sales calls and record all information into the Company’s ERP System

· Add and activate finalized estimates, collect deposits

· Collect final balances on order

· Debrief daily with Director of Sales and team; review weekly reports and attend Sales Meetings and training

· Maintain company’s propriety client database.

3. New Business Development

· Conduct the following calls: website inquiries and assigned leads, referrals, prospects, cold call research and follow-up

· Help in the creation and delivery of new marketing programs and sales ideas to build customer base and increase sales

· Attend trades shows when necessary to further develop new business and potential markets

4. Seasonal Activity

· Prospect for new business in determined markets. Research and evaluate new and expanded potential markets

· Propose ideas and plans for “off-season” business, sales and Marketing.

· Assist Director of Sales with reporting sales results weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually

Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday MST, 40-hour work week. Overtime may be requested as required.

Physical Demands: Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods, lift to 50 lbs. and navigate/use computer system.

Mental and Visual Demands: Flow of work and nature of duties involve normal coordination of mind and eyes much of the time.

Qualifications for this Role:

· Three to five years relevant Sales experience

· Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

· Motivated to do sales, previous experience necessary. Ability to deal with high-end clientele preferred.

· Excellent telephone manner, including active listening skills, ability to ask questions and clear verbalization.

· Basic math and geometry skills necessary.

· Need to manage multiple tasks, effectively prioritize and manage time and produce reports when needed.

· Ability to toggle between working independently and supporting the team

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Scale/Salary Range/Benefits:

· Salary is $28,392.00 annual base plus commission with a projected annual range of $70,000 - $120,000 per year.

· Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick, vacation, and holiday, retirement plan, and other perks.
